Thank you for choosing Settlemyre Services for your local Residential Trash Service. We provide a 96-gallon trash can and collect trash once a week. Settlemyre Services takes great pride in customer service, and we tailor to the needs of our customers. Terms Of Service
Weekly Residential Trash Pick Up:
As a customer of Settlemyre Services, LLC we require all trash to be bagged and tied. This process helps keep our community clean and also the provided 96-gallon trash can clean. We require the trash can to be at the end of the driveway the night before scheduled pick-up service. If you need special accommodation, please give us a call at 919-636-8073 and we can set that up. All trash must not exceed 15lbs per bag. Each customer should not exceed more than one full can per week. If there is a reoccurrence of overflowing trash, we reserve the right to add an additional fee for the excess trash. For weekly residential trash pickup, we do not accept yard debris, batteries, biohazard waste, chemicals, fuel, oil, concrete, dirt, and brick.
If the following requirements are not met, we reserve the right to not collect the trash.
Trash Can Agreement:
Once we drop off the 96 Gallon Trash Can, it becomes the customers responsibility to keep clean. The trash cans are property of Settlemyre Services, LLC and we have the right to collect the trash can if you cancel your account or are delinquent with payment. Your trash can is the only for your household trash only, neighbors nor anyone else is allowed to use your can but the designated household. The can must stay on the property it is assigned to. If you are or plan on moving and want to keep our service, please give us a call and we can work out the arrangements of transporting the can.
Billing:
We send out invoices on the first day of every month, the bill is due on the 20th of that same month. We do have a $10-dollar late fee for payment made after the 20th. If a payment is not made within the month, we reserve the right to suspend/cancel service at any time due to negligent payment. If you sign up for our weekly residential trash service after the beginning of the month, we reserve the right to prorate for that month only. We send invoices through our billing software, and it will be sent to the designated email address you give us.
Canceling Service:
As we hate to see customers go, we understand that this does happen from time to time. We do our best to make every customer satisfied with their experience with Settlemyre Services, LLC. If you are wanting to cancel service, give us a call at 919-636-8073 or email settlemyreservices@gmail.com and let us know you are wanting to cancel service and the reason why.
Day of Service:
Your specific day of service depends on your address. You can give us a call at 919-636-8073 if you are unsure about your specific day of service. Please have the trash can out the night before service.
Did your Trash not get picked up?
We will leave notices on the top of your 96-gallon trash can for the specific reasoning of not servicing your trash can. Reasons your trash was not picked up:
-Trash can was not at the roadside (unless special accommodations are scheduled)
-Trash is not in trash bags and tied.
-Trash bags are too heavy to lift. (Weight of individual trash bags should not exceed 15lbs)
-Overfilled trash cans (If we do collect it will be an additional fee)
-The account is past due on billing
-If we have a adverse weather event it may be later in the day before we collect the trash. (We will send out updates if this occurs on our Facebook and Instagram page).
Items we do not accept with Weekly Trash Service:
- Construction Materials
- Concrete/Bricks/Dirt
- Paints of any kind
- Yard Waste
- Batteries of any kind
- Bulky Furniture (dressers/mattresses/tables/chairs/etc.)
- Appliances
- Motor oil
- Chemicals of any kind
- Do not put hot ashes in the garbage container
We do offer bulk item pick up/Junk Removal Separate from our weekly trash Service:
Some of the items not permitted for the weekly residential trash service can be scheduled through us for pickup. We strive to be our customers one stop shop for any type of trash removal. The services we offer are weekly residential pick up, junk removal, and single item pick up.
